Who are the Leos?
The Leo program is a youth program from Lions International, the biggest voluntary organization in the world. Leos are children aged 12-18 that help out their community in different ways by helping out with local, regional and international projects. They organize all kinds of fundraising activities, provide clothing for needy children, collecting, books for students, visiting children that are hospitalized, raising funds for UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) or organizing other fundraisers.
The Leo Club Program is over 50 years old! The first group started in 1957. The Leo movement has since then grown to more than 5,500 clubs in more than 130 countries with approximately 140,000 members.
